Sunday Crèche and Sunday School
Ages 11 and under
Ages 7 to 11
Near the beginning of the Sunday morning meeting, there is a short talk for the children in the service. These talks are usually done in a series on a biblical theme, and are designed to be accessible for the children. After the talk, we sing and pray before the younger children go out to the crèche or Sunday school until the conclusion of the main meeting.
The crèche is for children and babies up to 4 years old. The crèche varies from week to week, but we keep the children engaged and, where appropriate, teach them basic lessons from the bible.
For the older children, aged 11 and under, we run a Sunday school. We run various activities with the children centred around a biblical theme.
Minims is a parent and babies music group that meets Tuesdays 10-11am and Fridays 2-3 pm at 60 South Bank Ave.
Allsorts is open to preschool children and their parents or carers. We meet on Monday mornings at 10 am and Tuesday afternoons at 1:30 pm during term-time in the Knavesmire Children’s Centre. Activities include story time and craft, as well as the opportunity to play and chat.
Shining Lights is a club for children aged 7 to 11 where we play and hear a bible story. We meet every other week at 60 South Bank Avenue on Tuesdays at 6:15 pm.
