International Café (Friends International)

This weekly Monday evening term-time café is held at the Spurriergate Centre, and gives visitors the opportunity to practise their English and make new friends. Chill ‘n Chat evenings alternate with activities such as entertaining English lessons, illustrated talks, games nights and food evenings.

Besom in York

We support Besom in York, a local Christian charity which acts as a bridge between people in need (referred by the local council and other agencies) and Christians who want to give either time, quality furniture or goods. Contact Neil Hulse: 07958 777247.

Restore York

Restore York is a Christian charity set up to provide homes and support for people in York who would otherwise be homeless. Restore works in partnership with Green Pastures Housing and other local landlords to lease and manage properties and provide support for its tenants, so that having found a home they are also equipped to sustain their tenancy.

Family Matters

Family Matters York is a charity working to strengthen relationships and build confidence within families. This is done through a portfolio of training workshops and courses, in-house resources and an extensive range of accredited family support programmes tailored to the needs of families.

YoYo

York Schools and Youth Trust (YoYo) is a charity that works with York schools and churches to bring the Christian faith alive. We want young people to have the chance to explore the Christian faith, to equip churches to work in their local schools, and encourage Christians in schools as they live out their faith.
